Much of the stunning architecture of Warsaw including the city’s stunning castle was unfortunately destroyed in the war. Although Poland’s capital city of Warsaw has a small attractive old town centre, the Polish cities that we consider to be best for city breaks are Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw. These Polish cities offer beautiful city centres which should entrance visitors with plenty of things to see and do, both within the cities themselves but also nearby.
